Building on the momentum from our trip back in March, the team is back in Dhaka! Mission 26 has us at the Dhaka Dental College Hospital for nearly three weeks. We're definitely making up for lost time this year.
This mission has only just begin and Dr. Aziz & team have screened 50 patients and planned 35 surgeries which will be taking place over the course of three days. More screenings will be scheduled in the coming days.

That is why it is with GREAT excitement and relief that our team is back in Dhaka for our 25th surgical mission! We are on the ground and ready to treat our patients, reconnect with friends and colleagues in Dhaka and help many children smile. There is certainly a lot of work ahead of us to make up for the 25 months that were on hold because of COVID. Over 4 days of surgery, we will be treating 35 cleft lips and there are also 7 Orthognathic surgeries planned.
The first day was off to a great start with 6 cleft lip cases and a Lefort/bsso case. Stay tuned for more as we will be teaching our colleagues at the Dhaka Dental College, as well.
