LYNN SPEER

Lynn Speer spent most of her career as an Emergency Room Nurse at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York. A native of Clifton, New Jersey, she had a passion for making the world a better place and also a love for learning and working with people from all corners of the globe. Lynn spent most of her spare time working as a recovery room nurse on missions with Healing the Children and for the last 12 years with Smile Bangladesh. Lynn had participated on more than 25 surgical missions during her career - most with Imre and Shahid. She was always a positive force that brought a love of life and unlimited energy to all she touched. “Mama Lynn” lost her brief battle with cancer in April 2018. She will be dearly missed but will always be much loved and her memory held close by those lives she touched. We love you, Lynn. You will always be with us in spirit.
