First Full Day of the Mission

The group arrived at the hospital to a very warm welcome and opening ceremony by the Lions club. The next several hours were spent screening 80+ patients - many with complex burn and Maxillofacial injuries sustained during the civil war as well as facial cleft patients. The day wrapped up with five surgeries. Thirty surgeries are planned over the next three days.
